If you've ever experienced your vehicle sliding while on a winter road in Loves Park, then you know the panic that you feel when this starts to happen. Next time you encounter an icy patch, here's what you should try and do.
Remove your foot off the accelerator pedal so you're not gaining anymore speed. However, make sure you don't put your foot on the brake. Use your hands to guide the steering wheel to the side where your vehicle is sliding. Be sure to avoid over steering your vehicle to that side, or you could end up making the situation a lot worse than it already is.
You can accelerate and steer normally again when you feel like your vehicle is no longer sliding and it's moving straight forward.
