Every vehicle drives differently. Even the same model with two different trim levels can feel very different when you get behind the wheel to go for a drive. Two terms that apply to the sensitivity of your vehicle to steering are understeer and oversteer.

Oversteer is something you'll experience when your automobile turns far more than is commanded by you as the driver. Some people don't mind this effect, while other people try to stay away from a vehicle that has oversteering. Understeer refers to a vehicle steering less than what is commanded by the driver. In other words, turning is going to require you to turn that wheel a lot more than you would expect.

It really comes down to preference when you're driving a vehicle. That's why we here at Napleton's Autowerks, Inc. (Loves Park) recommend that you take a vehicle out for a test drive before settling on something.
